We exist so scientists have the ability to leverage computational resources to more easily gain insights from image based data for a positive societal impact.

 —ViQi, Inc. Mission Statement

Image processing has traditionally been a boutique industry, requiring highly trained engineers in a designated lab with very specific equipment to process, interpret, and store data. This is time-consuming, expensive, and creates barriers that limit or block research and discovery efforts. We want to break down those barriers.

At ViQi we are the node that connects computer science, life science, data science & AI/ML, and imaging. This interdisciplinary approach not only increases accessibility of image processing to all researchers and developers but also leads to improved speed, agility, and outcomes. We’ve created a user-friendly, adaptable, and scalable cloud-based software that can visualize, analyze, and store over 250 types of large-scale image formats in one central web-based repository.
